Today I did Week five, day three and wow! Brisk five-minute warmup walk, then jog two miles (or 20 minutes) with no walking!!
While I was running I had to stay focused not to give up, and what I did was taking what I saw from the environment and tell my self that I was doing a grate job!
I passed a young girl with a bag full of beer and talking to the phone, and then I told to my self. “I could be going to a party, but I am out running, GOOD JOB”
Then I ran past a couple sitting in the sun drinking beer and I said to my self “I could be drinking this beer, but I am out running, GOOD JOB”
Then I passed a man smoking and I told my self “Thank god I never started smoking, then I would deffenetly not be out running, GOOD JOB”
Then I ran past a boy eating an ice-cream and I told my self “damn, this Ice-cream is tasty, but I am out running, GOOD JOB”
And before I knew it the program was over and 20 minutes had passed and I made another personal record GOOD JOB!!!
YESS I AM A WINNER!
